My wife got this scooter for my daughter who is almost two years old, in order to keep her off her big brother's two wheeled scooter. I put the product together only to find that the back wheels wouldn't even turn. I called product support to find out if this was a common issue, but there was an 87 minute wait, so I decided to abandon my efforts and return the scooter. My guess is the company has sacraficed quality in order to keep the price down. Therefore ,the plastic "spacers", which are supposed to allow the wheels to turn, ended up being to large for the wheel assembly and prevented the wheels from turning. Based on some of the other reviews of other scooters, it is possible you may very well have better luck than me as I imagine there is a wide variety in how the spacers turn out. Just save your purchase info, as you may need to pack it up and send it back.
